A wonderful ‘east coast’ experience!! The deep-sea cod fishing, biking, touring and walking the beautiful beaches were all highlights for us. Accommodations were perfect and we enjoyed the chalet very much. A lot of fish and food (both in house and out) accompanied by your PEI wine — can’t get much better than this!! Many thanks and memories from all of us.

We had a wonderful time in PEI. We did a lot of walking on paths and beaches, a little shopping, and a lot of relaxing in this beautiful accommodation. The whole family appreciates the care and attention which Philip and Dawn have put into the decoration and maintenance of this lovely bayside home. All of the hospitable touches — everything from crackers, cheese, and wine to the extra household items just in case we had forgotten something were very thoughtful touches. We’re in love with PEI – the MOST beautiful province.

How quickly the time flies by! It seems we just arrived and suddenly it’s time to depart. We can say that we had a most enjoyable week. We were able to enjoy the beautiful morning sunrises and the equally stunning sunsets from our chalet’s great vantage point. With all the comforts of home, the chalet provided us with everything we needed to provide for the requirements of the entire family. In particular, its location afforded us an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities, from golf to ceilidhs and of course shopping and even the beach. Thanks again for a great vacation!

A good time was had by all. We checked out a number of great beaches. We also did some deep sea fishing and between the two of us caught 12 fish! We also enjoyed the Eddie May mystery theatre. We also spent enough time just chillin’, hopefully making us more motivated to get back to work upon our return…. One last item of note — It always amazes me just how green the island is. I guess in PEI, the grass is NOT greener on the other side! :)

As soon as we crossed the bridge onto PEI, we knew it was going to be a very special vacation. The cottage was perfect! We especially enjoyed the beach and the ceilidh in Stanley Bridge. We kayaked on the Hope River, swam and found dozens of clams! We drove on the heritage road near Trout River and the children fished. The deep sea fishing excursion was also highly successful, with a cod and mackerel dinner to finish! We loved beachcombing and collecting many “treasures” as well as pottery from the Village Pottery Store. The cottage was so well equipped, and we appreciated all the time and thought put into the environment. All of us loved the island, and one week is simply not long enough.

It was a rainy day when we arrived in PEI, but we fell in love immediately with this lovely cottage. You can imagine how we were delighted the next day when we walked into the bright living room with full morning sun. PEI had been my mother’s most desired place to visit since she had read the book “Anne of Green Gables” when she was a little girl. We enjoyed all activities that relate to Anne, as well as PEI’s famous seafood. Our boys also enjoyed their stay. They ran out to the swings whenever they had a chance. We also really appreciated the National Park pass. After we found the white sand beach at Cavendish West, we visited there every day. We had a perfect vacation in the most beautiful place and at our dream cottage!! Thank you very much!

A week of long, lazy summer days with PERFECT weather turned this into a wonderful family vacation. The cottage was terrific and we enjoyed the attractions, beaches, beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere of PEI. Exactly what we had been hoping for on our first trip here! What a tremendous experience we all had for our island getaway. Just seeing the smiles on my 6 year old’s face was enough for us to realize that it was a complete vacation. Everything we wanted, we received. The chalet itself was a wonderful home after long days at the beach or various excursions. No doubt our return is assured to the Seascape Chalet in the future! The past 11 days have been a great family vacation, and staying at your property had a lot to do with our tremendous experience. From the moment we first stepped into the chalet, we were “breathless,” as the decor and scenery were unbelievable. Our two daughters enjoyed immensely the swings and toys during our stay as they both entertained them on a constant basis. Philip & Dawn, the both of you should be very proud of your property, as the chalet is beautiful, and you have provided everything needed to make a family vacation a great experience. We will definitely be wanting to stay here again on our next visit to PEI.
